JAMMU, May 17: BJP Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Jugal Kishore Sharma visited SMGS Hospital, here at Shalimar today and took stock of arrangements and facilities provided to patients there.
Jugal Kishore Sharma visited Blood Donation Camp at the Hospital organized by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) .He while appreciating the workers of Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha said that they are doing a noble cause in this pandemic where hospitals are drying of blood and plasma which are creating a huge loss of human lives. They have taken a great initiative to serve and save the life of people suffering from COVID-19 pandemic even in lockdown.
He said that this blood camp will provide great help to COVID-19 Positive and Non-COVID patients and no patient have to suffer with the lack of Blood and Plasma. He said not even youth of Bharatiya Janata Party but other youths of JK(UT) are also joining this camps and donation of blood and plasma voluntarily. He said that Bharatiya Janata Party is serving the people under nationwide programme Sewa Hi Sangathan and not only donating blood but providing food and other help to the needy and also delivery of medicines to homes of COVID positive patients.
He said that BJP has shown how to stand shoulder to shoulder with people of J&K(UT) even in difficult times.
Arun Prabhat State president BJYM who organized the Camp informed Member of Parliament that this blood donation camp will continue for 10 days and will provide blood and plasma to COVID and non COVID patients during needy hours. He said that youths from various corners are interacting with ‘Seva Hi Sangathan’ programme and appreciating the relief work done by Bharatiya Janata Party and its Yuva wing also.
Medical Superintendent SMGS, Dara Singh, Dy MS Rajesh Sharma and BJYM leaders Deepak Pandey,Kapil Chib, Ankush Jamwal, Raj Sharma, Atul, Vikas Sharma were also present at the occasion.
