JAMMU, Feb 20: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha Jammu -Poonch along with president Municipal Committee, RS Pura, Satpal Pappi, District Development Council members, Gharu Ram Bhagat,Vidhya Mutton, former Minister, Sham Lal Choudhary unveiled the statue of Maharaja Ranbir Singh at Main Chowk RS Pura.
Jugal Kishore Sharma while addressing the gathering on the occasion said that today on the same day Maharaja Ranbir Singh had come into power and his Rajtilak was performed in Jammu & Kashmir so on this day his statue is established at RS Pura.
This is the great tribute to Maharaja Ranbir Singh Ji. He while admiring the bravery of Maharaja said that he has done very great jobs for the welfare of people of Jammu which are still existing like Ranbir Canal and many more. He said that Maharaja Ranbir Singh was son of Maharaja Gulab Singh belongs to Rajputana family and installation of his statue at Main Chowk in RS Pura will always remind us about his bravery and great works.
