Jugal submits memorandum to Parikar for recruitment of WP refugees in Army

NEW DELHI, Mar 9: Bharatiya Janata Party Member of Parliament from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma, alongwith Rajya Sabha MP & Jammu and Kashmir BJP Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna, Refugee Action committee president Labha Ram Gandhi and others called on the  Minister of Defence, Manohar Parikar at New Delhi and submitted a representation containing grievances of the youth belonging to West Pakistan Refugee community related to recruitment in Army.
Manohar Parikar, on receiving the representation and after getting details about the sort of problems faced by the youth in the matter, said that whatever has been brought into notice will be looked into sympathetically and assured that a final decision will be taken within next fifteen days and decks cleared for smooth participation of the youth in future Army recruitment rallies in the State.
Refugee Action committee office bearers Sukhdev Singh Manhas, Jagdish Singh Manhas, Jaswant Singh and Balbir Raj also accompanied Jugal during his meeting with the Defence Minister.
