JAMMU, Sept 7: Bharatiya Janata Party MP, Jugal Kishore Sharma, along with Vice Chairman OBC Board, Rash Pal Verma and MLC Pradeep Sharma toured Mendhar constituency in village BG, Balakote, Dhaargloon, Ari, Mankote, Mendhar, Banwat and Dungas and sanctioned Rs 20 lakh for various developmental works in district Poonch.
Jugal visited Government Girls Higher Secondary School and provided funds for development of the school and said that the development of school will provide great message to the students and it should be developed as a sign to the development of the State. Continuing his chain of tours to the village Ari and Mendhar, he sanctioned Rs 5 lakh each for Ari and Mendhar for construction of community halls. Jugal also kick started the construction work of lanes and drains costing more than 15 lakh in Dungas and Shanker Nagar in Poonch.
He also visited village Banwat and encouraged the players for playing kabbadi match on Shri Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Khelo Pratiyogita. He distributed the prizes among the winning and runners up team. Jugal announced that district Poonch will soon get Air services which would be a boon to the inhabitants of Poonch. Later, he while addressing the large number of gathering at Mendhar said that during the past three years, the nation has witnessed massive development and record number of welfare schemes stood launched by the BJP led NDA Government under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the people had been yearning for a change and they brought in BJP at the Centre as well as in maximum States, including Jammu & Kashmir.
He said that the major moves of NDA Government like demonetization, GST etc proved that the Union Government is working straight forwardly for the welfare of each and every citizen without caste or creed. The means of communication, modern facilities of health care and ensuring social and economic upliftment of women, farmers and youth has been the hallmark of this Government. He said that the chain of development has been started by the Central Government and all the parts of J&K and district Poonch will get share of development in quality as well as in quantity.
Jugal also distributed kits and playing gadgets among the players at the stadium. Rishi Pal Verma and MLC Pardeep Sharma also addressed the meetings.
DC Poonch Tariq Zargar and Sunil Gupta general secretary and senior leader BJP, Mahesh Tandon, Mandal president BJP Mendhar Dara Singh,Bablu Gupta Organiser, Zulfikar Pathan, alias Khan,Rajinder Pandit, Showket Khan,Nisar Shah,Baaji Farooq,Taranjit Happy, Punit Sharma, Abhinandan and others were present.
