JAMMU, Feb 28: To address the issues of public and to sort out their grievances, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma along with MLA Akhnoor, Rajiv Sharma and MLA Chamb Krishan Lal Bhagat paid an extensive visit to Akhnoor and addressed a public meeting today.
Addressing the large number of people, Jugal said no kind of injustice would be done with the inhabitants of Akhnoor and assured that he will ask the Union Ministry for cancellation of an Artillery Unit in Akhnoor in Chamb Constituency. He further said the people that no village and neither any person would be asked to leave their land for setting of an Artillery Unit.
While interacting with the people Jugal Kishore also reviewed the progress of four lanning of Jammu- Poonch National Highway and inspected the development process of Jammu to Akhnoor road and survey of Jammu Poonch railway line in budget. Among others who addressed the rally included district president BJP Manmohan Singh, Mandal Pardhan Shoba Ram and Pawan Gupta.
