JAMMU, Oct 9: Prof Manoj Dhar, Vice Chancellor of the University of Jammu, today released the book of Computer Science entitled “Java 9”, authored by the Dr Shubhnandan S Jamwal of the Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu.
The book has been published by the `The Team, Shroff Publishers Pvt Ltd’, which is an authorized distributer of the O’Reilly in India. The book is meant for the MCA, Engineering and M Tech students and it covers the basic learning of Java by examples and contains the more than hundred solved problems of Java programming.
Among others, Prof Lalit Sen Sharma, Head Department of Computer Science and IT; Prof Parkash Anthal, Head Department of the Economics; Prof K S Charak, President JUTA; Dr Neeraj Sharma, Special Secretary to Vice Chancellor; Dr Dharmender Magotra, Joint Registrar Finance; Dr Virender Koundal, Dr Ravinder Singh and Pardeep were also present on the occasion.
