JAMMU, Dec 1: NSS Volunteer and national speaker Srishti Koul, a student of University of Jammu was selected by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Government of India as the speaker and representative of nation at 6th Brics Youth Summit hosted by Russia this year.
BRICS is the acronym coined to associate five major emerging national economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.
The 15 members Indian Youth Delegation attended the programme from November 29 till Dec. 1. Indian Youth Delegation comprised youth from diverse fields, representing all parts of the country.
Srishti Koul spoke on the specified subject ‘Official and Public Diplomacy’. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Chemistry from University of Jammu.
She has been the first girl of J&K UT to represent India in Brics Youth Summit.
