JAMMU, Feb 11: The ongoing token strike by Jammu University Non-Gazetted Employees Union and casual workers entered into 8th day today as there was no positive outcome of the talks between the agitating employees and JU administration.
The protesting employees assembled in front of the Administration block and held a demonstration in support of their demands. Raising slogans and holding placards, they also took out a rally on the campus.
While addressing the protest, leaders of Non-Gazetted Employees Union accused the JU administration of forcing them to resort to agitational path. They also informed that Non-teaching Employees Union will again participate in their token strike from tomorrow.
