JU Law School organizes international workshop

JAMMU, Feb 17: The Law School in University of Jammu, today organized one-day international workshop on “Youth And Leadership” in collaboration with NSS Campus Units.
Deepak Manchanda, member CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Speakers) was the key resource person. He stressed upon the important keys to lead a happy, peaceful and successful life. Besides the importance of knowledge, he talked about five types of intelligence which pave a way towards success. The types he mentioned were Logical Intelligence, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Emotional and Natural Intelligence.
In addition, he also focused upon the elements of self introspection, self discipline and inquisitiveness as important attributes for the youth to grow and excel.
The presentation was followed by an interactive session wherein a number of students asked questions which were amply replied by the resource person. The students of The Law School actively participated in the event. NSS volunteers of different departments besides, Law School attended the workshop.
Dean Students Welfare, Professor Pankaj Srivastava, Programme officers NSS campus units namely, Dr Hema Gandotra, Dr Anju Thappa, Dr Sapna Sangra and faculty members of The Law School were present during the workshop.
Dr Sanjay Gupta, Director of The Law School, presented welcome address. Dr Seema Rohmetra NSS Programme officer Law School unit and Coordinator Gandhi Peace Foundation, Jammu chapter, coordinated the event and introduced the speaker to the audience. Dr Deepti Gupta, Assistant Professor, The Law School, presented the vote of thanks.
