JAMMU, Nov 24: The Business School, University of Jammu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BSE Institute Limited.
The MoU was signed by Prof Rahul Gupta, Registrar University of Jammu and Akhil Chopra from BSE Institute Limited. The objective of the MoU is to implement the skill development programme of BSE Institute Limited supported by SBI and Mission Youth J&K wherein, the BSE will impart a no-cost training to the students of The Business School, University of Jammu.
Earlier, training programme on Mutual Funds was organized for MBA students of session 2021-23 at TBS in collaboration with BSE Institute Limited and such training programs shall now be a regular feature with this MoU.
Emphasizing the need for such collaborations, Prof Rahul Gupta, Registrar JU, said that this undertaking would not just help in fostering the relationship between the two partner institutions but would also promote the professional development of students. Sharing his pleasure on University of Jammu joining hands with BSE Institute Limited, Registrar appreciated the efforts of Prof Vinay Chauhan, Director, The Business School and remarked that this collaboration will not only help in developing the skills of the stakeholders through enhanced academic initiatives but would also bring new opportunities for them.
In his message, JU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Umesh Rai appreciated the initiative for collaborative work done by faculty members of The Business School and BSE Institute Limited. He stressed upon the need for such collaborations for cementing the industry-academia interface to strengthen the skill development ecosystem at the University of Jammu.
Prof Neelu Rohmetra, Dean Research Studies, expressed her contentment over the growth trajectory of The Business School and congratulated the Director and faculty members for this accomplishment.
Prof Versha Mehta Dean, Faculty of Business Studies, also appreciated the efforts and assured full support for such collaborative endeavours in the future.
Earlier, Prof Vinay Chauhan, Director, The Business School, gave a detailed insight about the MoU. Dr Amisha Gupta, Associate Professor at The Business School facilitated the MoU.
