JAMMU, Sept 1: The University of Jammu has directed its staff residing in declared contaionment zones to work from home.
An order issued by the Registrar of Jammu University today said that in pursuant to the guidelines/ instructuions issued by the Chairperson, State Executive Committee, DMRRR, on August 31, 2020, it is advised to the University staff residing in declared containment zones to work from home with intimation to their respective controlling officers.
It further directed that the attendance of the non-teraching staff/ employees to their respective places of work has been restricted to 50 %. Therefore, for ensuring the smooth working of the academic and administrative tasks, all the Rectors/ HODs/ Directors/ Branch Heads/ officers shall prepare a rotational roster plan and accordingly ensure their staff atendence, the order of JU Registrar said.
