JAMMU, Feb 12: The Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita has urged the Government to release the cash relief in advance of Shivratri falling first week of March.
Mr Pandita has made an appeal to Governor N N Vohara in this regard and urged him to take immediate steps in releasing the cash assistance to migrants in advance of Maha Shivratri festival so that the displaced people do not face problems in celebrating the festival.
