JTC writes to PM, demands posting of employees at Jammu

JAMMU, Aug 4: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) was held at Jagti township today under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, its President.
Pandita in his address while referring to the memorandum submitted to Prime Minister by JTC/SKF on July 26 regarding the plight of the migrant employees serving in Kashmir valley said that response of the memorandum has been received from P M O under letter No. PMOPG/D/2016/0211484 dated 28-07-2016.
He said the Government of India has given favourable response to the memorandum and processed the same for further necessary action.
He said since these migrant employees serving in Kashmir valley have been forced to leave Kashmir due to subversive activities and torture they should
be attached with Relief Organisation (M) Jammu and ensuring release of their monthly salaries without any further delay.
Pandita also demanded filling of remaining 3800 posts under PM employment package at an earliest.
