JAMMU, Feb 27: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front was held today under the presidentship of Shadi Lal Pandita, president JTC in which various problems of the displaced people were discussed.
The meeting expressed its grave concern over the slackness of the Government in enhancing the cash assistance in favour of Kashmiri migrants though recommendations have already been made by the State Government in this regard.
The meeting alleged that the Government has failed to implement the PM’s employment package in the State and out of 6000 posts only 2000 posts have been filled up.
The meeting demanded sanctioning additional 3000 posts of Class IVth employees without any consideration of merit.
The meeting said that KPs are interested in their rehabilitation in Valley provided a separate township is established near Srinagar city.
