JTC, SKF warn to intensify agitation

JAMMU, Jan 20: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) whose dharna entered 11th day at Jagti township today warned that they will continue the protest till the genuine demands of the displaced people are settled.
Addressing the protesters, Shadi Lal Pandita, president JTC ,SKF said the Government has closed its eyes as it does not feel the pain and agony of displaced people. It is a pity that the displaced people are on protest for over 100 days but no representative of Government bothered to visit Jagti and talk to them.
He said as till date Government has not met the demands, the protest will continue. He accused the BJP Government of ignoring Kashmiri Pandits despite the fact that the community is living in exile for 31 long years. He reiterated the demands and urged the Government to settle them as early as possible failing which the community will be forced to intensify agitation.
