JTC, SKF hold rally; warn to continue agitation

JAMMU, Nov 27: Today,on the 57th day of agitation sit -in the Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) held a protest in Jagti township.
Addressing the members, Shadi Lal Pandita, president JTC and SKF appealed to UT and Central Governments to increase the monthly cash relief of migrants at an earliest. He said due to sky rocketing prices relief holders are not able to make their both ends meet and they are totally unable to bear the cost of medicines and cover the educational expenses of their children.
He said the protests will continue as long as monthly cash relief of relief holders is increased from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 and a Government job is provided to every displaced family which has no serving Government employee.
Kashi Nath Bhat, vice president of JTC,SKF and Raj Kumar Tickoo unit president JTC, convenor, SKF said that displaced pensioners should be given free ration immediately. The advisory members, vice presidents, general secretaries and secretaries, including Ravinder Koul, M L Razdan, Vijay Bakshi, Kamal Ji Pandita, Vinod Moza , Rakesh Ambardar, Sager Pandita, Sunil Koul, Shuban Raina, Shadi Lal Koul , Rakesh Tickoo, Raj K Tickoo, Charanjeet Singh, J L Koul, S L Kar,Vicky Langoo, Sanjay Sharma, Vijay Tickoo, C L Koul, Sunil Bhan, Rakesh Koul, Bihari Lal Razdan, R K Tickoo, Ramesh Suri ,Gurmeet Singh , Gh Mohmad Khan, Ab Rahman, Chand Ji Koul, Sanjay Raina, Kuldeep Raina, Javaid Ahmad and others also addressed the gathering. They demanded that over- aged migrant youths who see their future totally bleak and are in great desperation be given compensation and bank loans with out interest. They said our property has been damaged, during 31 years and the Government should compensate for these losses and displaced people be settled in three satellite townships in Kashmir valley.
