JAMMU, Sept 9: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC), Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) and PCC Migrant Cell was held here, today under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, president, JTC.
In his address Shadi Lal Pandita who is also co-convenor of PCC Migrant Cell said that since Article 370 and 35A has been abrogated the leaders of Pradesh Congress Committee have been kept under house arrest which has given serious setback to the democratic set up. Pandita said that the leaders of ruling party are free to hold seminars and public meetings but the leaders of PCC are under house arrest.
He demanded that all political leaders be released to have interactions with the general masses.
Pandita said that snapping of mobile and internet services has put the general masses to lot of sufferings and the business class, as well as public have been put to huge financial loss.
He said that due to prevailing situation in Kashmir the Government should ensure proper security and safety of the migrant employees there.
