JAMMU, June 15: A meeting of Jagti Tenement, (JTC) Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K was held at Jagti township under the chairmanship of its president, Shadi Lal Pandita in which the problems of Kashmiri Pandits were discussed.
Addressing the members Pandita said that the BJP Government has failed to resettle the Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley and redress their problems.
He said charging the electricity fee to migrant relief holders is completely unfair. Pandita said until the Government resettle the Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley the migrants putting up in camps will not pay the electricity fee.
He, while highlighting the demands said the 33 years of property loss of Kashmiri Pandits should be compensated, the remaining amount of burnt houses should be released, the illegal encroachments on the lands and religious places of Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley be removed, 20,000 jobs be given to unemployed KP youth, over-aged educated youth who have obtained education and degrees and who have not got jobs be given bank loans of up to Rs 25 lakh without interest so that they can start their own business, the Government should establish three satellite colonies in three districts of Kashmiri, political and minority status should be given to Kashmiri Pandits.
