JAMMU, Oct 26: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held at Jagti township near here, today in which its president Shadi Lal Pandita who is also convener PCC Migrant Cell said that the agitation will continue till the demands are met.
Pandita criticized the Government for maintaining silence on the genuine demands of the displaced KPs and alleged that the Government failed to take steps for the redressal of the demands despite the chain hunger strike called by two organisations completed 25th day today. He accused the Government of step motherly treatment to the displaced pundits and said that his organization will not budge till the ongoing struggle is taken to logical conclusion.
Reiterating his demands he stressed that the cash relief be increased to Rs 25000 per month, besides 20000 job package with 5000 class fourth posts be also announced. He demanded that every KP family which has no Government employee should be provided a job besides all employees of package posted in Valley be provided accommodation by constructing more quarters at district head quarters.
Pandita reiterated the demand for establishing three satellite townships in three erstwhile districts of Kashmir Anantnag, Srinagar and Baramulla for the rehabilitation of displaced Pandits, passage of Shrines and Temples Bill, restoration of shrines, temples land and Pandits immovable property which has been encroached by anti national elements etc.
Meanwhile today Jagti road was blocked by the JTC, Soan Kashmir members for an hour. The protestors warned the Government that if the demands were not met the displaced pandits will be forced to intensify the agitation.
Kashi Nath Bhat, Inder Ji Labroo,  Rakesh Ambardar,S L Kar, Sunil Bhan, Sunil Koul, Sager Pandita, Shuban Raina, C L Koul, S Charan Jeet Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Gowri Shanker,Gokal Nath Bhat,Jitander Raina, Mohan Krishan Tickoo,Vinod Moza, Kamal Ji Pandita, Sanjay Raina, Ajay Kachroo,Bihari Lal Razdan,Ravinder Koul Sahib,Kiran Kumar Bhat, Ajay Tickoo,Babloo Ramesh, Kuldeep Raina,Vikey Hakoo,J L Bhat, Kamal Ji Pandita ,Javaid Ahmad,Rajinder Koul, Ram Krishan,Shuban Mattoo and others participated in the protest.
