JTC for immediate implementation of PM package

JAMMU, Nov 30: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) was held here at Jagti Nagrota under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, president of the Committee.
During the course of meeting various issues and problems being faced by the community were discussed.
Addressing the meeting Shadi Lal Pandita reiterated the demanded of conducting on spot recruitment rally in Jagti migrant camp for K P migrant candidates in Police Department. It is surprising that though recruitment rallies have been conducted at various places in the State but Jagti migrant camp has been ignored.
He said that the Prime Minister’s employment package announced in 2008 has not yet been implemented and remaining 4000 posts are yet to be filled for which no process is being initiated.
Pandita demanded that the enhancement of cash assistance to Rs. 10,000/- needs to be given effect from the date of its recommendations by the State Government.
He also demanded that out of 6000 quarters 2000 each be constructed at Srinagar, Baramulla and Anantnag districts of Kashmir Valley.
Others who were present in the protest included Roshan Lal Manhori, Ved Lal Pandita, Raj Kumar Tickoo, Hari Krishna Pandit, Sunil Koul, Rattan Lal Bhat, Kashi Nath Bhat Rajinder Dhar, Sunil Raina, Vinod Bhat, S.L. Kar, Shuban Ji Raina, M.L. Pandiat, M.K. Bhat, M.K. Raina, B.N. Thusoo, B.L. Koul, B.L. Bhat, Ram Nath Pandita, C.L. Pandita, Gopi Nath Shah etc.
