JAMMU, Feb 25: Jammu State Morcha MLA Ashwani Sharma today staged walk-out in protest against discrimination with the border people of Bishnah constituency.
“During shelling or ceasefire violations from across the border, the people of these areas face difficulties in carrying out their day to day activities but Government has no proposal to provide alternate shelter to the people at safer places”, he said.
He further said, “this is not withstanding the fact that Government itself admits that during shelling the people of these areas face difficulties in carrying out their day to day activities”, adding “nobody in this Government seems to be interested in providing justice to the border people”.
As there was no response from the Government, Ashwani Sharma staged walk-out.
