SRINAGAR, Nov 28: The junior doctors of SMHS Hospital, Srinagar today called off their strike following their agreement with Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services & Sports, Taj Mohi-ud-Din over most of their demands.
A delegation of these doctors met the Minister who assured them that their demands would be met. He assured them that they would be provided more secure atmosphere at the hospital where the security for doctors would be further strengthened.
Mr. Taj promised the junior doctors that their demand of addressing pay anomaly would be sympathetically looked into. He assured the doctors to even go to the Cabinet for the redressal of this demand of the doctors.
