JAMMU, Feb 23: The enforcement team of Sub-division Janipur, JPDCL carried out routine inspection at Ambedkar Nagar in Janipur area to check power theft and imposed penalty on defaulters, here today.
During the inspection a number of illegal connections were also disconnected which was organised under the supervision of HS Puri, In-charge Assistant Engineer along with Iftikar Ahmed Wani, Assistant Engineer, while concerned Feeder Manager, Rakesh Lochan, Engineer Jyoti Sharma, Er. Surshta Devi and staff members were present during the inspection drive.
HS Puri said that similar drives will continue in other areas to stop power theft.
