JAMMU, May 31: Jammu Province Bank Employees Federation (JPBEF), here today, celebrated 101st birth anniversary of Tarakeshwar Chakraborty, former general secretary of AIBEA.
In this regard a social identification programme was held at Residential School for Visually Impaired Boys, Roop Nagar wherein JPBEF provided Mixer Grinder, lunch, refreshments and other daily use items to the students of the School.
The function was presided over by Tara Singh, Federation president and was also attended by Arurh Bhanu Khajuria, State general secretary PNBOA J&K.
Addressing the students, Arun Kumar Gupta, Federation general secretary said that such programmes were regularly held by JPBEF in the past also at Balgran-A Charitable Home for Children in Channi Rama; Muskaan, Home for Specially Abled Children Channi; Balika Niketan, Ved Mandir Amphalla and other such places.
The function was also attended by Raghav Abrol, Lati Ram, Indian Bank, Akhnoor, Anil Sotra, Yogesh Kumar, Harminder Singh, Avtar Singh, Sachin Hans, Sonu Kumar, Sahil Samnotra, Lucky Jamwal, Karan Dogra, Kewal Kumar, Anil Verma, Mukesh Sharma and Sanjeev Sucha.
Vote of thanks was given by Avtar Singh, organizing secretary of the Federation.
