Josh Helman returns as William Stryker in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

LOS ANGELES, July 19:  “Mad Max: Fury Road” actor Josh Helman will reprise his role as Colonel William Stryker in the sequel to “X-Men: Days of Future Past”.
Besides Apocalypse, the movie will have one more villain in William Stryker. Helman’s return was confirmed by director Bryan Singer’s latest post on Instagram, reported Aceshowbiz.
Singer posted a photo, which features Helman, 29, posing side by side with Rose Byrne, an actress, who portrays Moira MacTaggert in the “X-Men” movies.
“Happy to welcome back Josh Helman who happens to be shooting with fellow Aussie Rose Byrne today. #aussieinvasion #rosebyrne #sydney #joshhelman #adelaide #xmenapocalypse #2016 #xmen #XMen15,” so read the caption in the photo.
Helman was previously seen in “X-Men: Days of Future Past” in which his character was interrogated by Mystique who posed as an army colonel and subdued him, taking the mutant privates back to America.
“X-Men: Apocalypse” takes place in the 80s, a decade after “Days of Future Past”.
The altering of time features a new powerful enemy, Apocalypse, who awakens from his Egyptian tomb.
Written by Simon Kinberg, the movie will arrive in US theatres on May 27, 2016. (PTI)
