SRINAGAR, June 5: Minister for Urban Development, Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister of State for Science and Technology, Feroz Ahmed Khan and MLA Nobra, Tsetan Namgyal met Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here today and putforth the demand of grant of special duty allowance for State Government employees serving in Ladakh region as per the recommendation of the Six Central Pay Commission.
The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing and assured that the issue will be taken up with the Finance Department for consideration on priority.
