JAMMU, Aug 13: Joint Coordination Committee of PNB Officers Association (AIPNBOA) and Workmen Association (AIPNBEF) held protest at PNB Circle Office here.
This demonstration was a part of agitational program of Officers and Workmen Unions against Punjab National Bank (PNB) top management at all India level which started today with submission of memorandum to all Circle Heads and Zonal Heads.
Union members under the banner of Joint Co-ordination Committee held protest demonstrations against the discriminatory and undemocratic unilateral policies of top management. Both the associations–AIPNBOA and AIPNBEF which are respectively the majority officers and workmen associations of employees in PNB have formed Joint Coordination Committee for collectively fighting and protecting the rights of officers and workmen serving in PNB.
The demonstration was led by Satish Khajuria, Convener and Davinder Kumar, Co-Convener in which a large number of officers and workmen from different branches of PNB in J&K participated.
While speaking, Satish Khajuria explained the members about the issues which forced both the associations to form Joint Coordination Committee.
Among others who spoke were Uma Kant Sharma, Devinder Kumar and Arun Gupta.
Later, a memorandum was submitted to Circle Head Jammu by the leaders of Joint Coordination Committee.
