POONCH, Feb 18: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Rajouri-Poonch Range, Johnny William held a grievances reddressal camp of police personnel posted in district Poonch and listened to the issues of the subordinates here today.
The DIG listened to various issues projected by the police personnel. He informed the police personnel that most of their projections are already under the active consideration of higher formations and regarding other grievances same will be addressed as early as possible.
After the camp, the DIG also held interaction with all the supervisory officers, SHOs at DPO Conference Hall and discussed various matters pertaining to basic policing. They were directed to maintain Law and order situation in their respective jurisdictions and ready to meet the future challenges.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr William complimented the good work done by district police Poonch in handling law and order and on anti-militancy front. He also impressed upon the police personnel to work with sincerity and dedication and maintain good police-public relations.
Earlier, in his welcome address, SSP Poonch Jatinder Singh Johar highlighted the achievements of District Police Poonch on crime, law and order, on anti-militancy front and also thanked the DIG for the visiting the border district of Poonch. He also assured the DIG for same commitment of district Police, Poonch so as to come up to the expectations of general public.
