JAMMU, June 16: Jammu Opticians Association (JOA) organized second optical conference here today.
The conference was organized in association with Essilor India Private Limited and Velocity Eyewear. All opticians of Jammu region attended the conference.
Kavinder Gupta, Former Deputy Chief Minister was the chief guest on the occasion, who while speaking said that these kind of events help to upgrade the trade and industry.
Earlier Aman Jain, Vice President of the Association presented the welcome address, whereas in the end, Amit Jandyal, President of the Association gave vote of thanks.
On the occasion, life time achievement award was presented to Kuldeep Gupta for his long time contribution in the optical industry.
Technical session regarding lenses and frames were given by Essilor and Velocity eyewear respectively.
Amit Goel, General Secretary and Ankur Sharma, Cashier of the association threw light on the works done by the association.
Sanjeev Saini, Secretary JOA, Bihari Kak, PR Goel, Sumit Jandyal, Ravinder Puri, Parmod Jain and other leading opticians of Jammu Province were present on the occasion.
