JMWC accuses Govt of dividing community

JAMMU, Feb 18: Jagti Migrant Welfare Committee (JMWC) in its meeting has accused the Government of dividing the Kashmiri Pandits on the name of so called rehabilitation policy.
In a statement issued here, today it said that the Government has no role in deciding the fate of the community without taking the leadership into confidence.
The meeting, while taking serious exception to roping of a private society in construction of quarters for return of migrants and transferring entire sum under PM package to be given to a displaced family on the name of society said that this was not acceptable as the situation was not conducive for the same.
They accused the Revenue Minister, of never bothering to visit the migrant camps to study their problems. They said that Government was hell bent to deprive the community of basic rights of the community.
The meeting was chaired by Veer Ji Belove chairman of the Committee. Pintoo Ji president, Chand Ji, Ashok Kumar, Kundan Lal, Poshkar Nath, B C Pandita and others also addressed it.
