Jammu, Dec 9: A team of Health & Sanitation Wing of Jammu Municipal Corp. (JMC) under the supervision of Dr. Vinod Sharma (Health Officer) visited the various food junctions today. The team also inspected the Jammu Club, Press Club and Amar Singh Club, and issued directives to the managements of these clubs to improve their conditions of kitchen as per new Food Safety & Standard Act before February 4, 2014. After that the team visited Canal Road, Akhnoor Road, Roop Nagar areas for checking banned items polythene bags. The team seized 8 kg polythene from 12 defaulters and fined Rs. 5,000.
