The Corporation has devised a calendar for the fogging to cover the whole city. The drive is launched to bring down the vector density of adult mosquitoes and to reduce impending danger of spread of mosquito born diseases.
The general public especially the old age and those allergic to smoke/asthmatics are requested to remain indoor during thermal fogging. Public in general is also requested to follow the preventive measures like staying in well-screened houses, wearing protective clothings, using mosquito repellents and nets, and reducing mosquito habitats and breeding places.
