JAMMU: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today sealed the premises of one of the branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank having ‘no parking’ space.
“Continuing and intensifying the drive against the violations, the Enforcement staff of Jammu Municipal corporation today sealed the commercial premises on ground floor where the branch of J&K Bank, Rehari Colony was functioning,” official spokesperson of JMC here said.
He said there was no provision for parking the vehicles in the premises following which they were illegally parked outside the Branch by the visitors thus creating bottleneck and causing inconvenience to the general public in already busy area.
“It was also creating hindrance in the free flow of vehicular traffic leading to traffic jams while the action was taken under the provisions of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988,” he added. (AGENCIES)
