JAMMU, Jan 3: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today removed the illegal structure of mobile tower of M/s Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited here from Amphalla.
The action was taken by enforcement team of JMC on the directions of Mayor, JMC, Chander Mohan Gupta, Deputy Mayor, Advocate Purnima Sharma and Commissioner, JMC, Pankaj Magotra. The team under the supervision of Secretary, JMC, Sunaina Mehta, stopped the work and removed the structure of illegal mobile tower.
JMC has appealed the telecom companies to seek prior permission from JMC for installation of mobile towers and warned of action under rules against the defaulters.
