JAMMU, Nov 24: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) discarded 15 kilograms of substandard/unstamped meat and realized a fine of Rs 3,200 from the defaulters.
The Municipal Veterinary Officer, Dr Zafar Iqbal along with field staff on the directions of Commissioner, JMC Kiran Wattal conducted a drive at Durga Nagar, Muthi, Roop Nagar, Janipur, New Plot and CPO.
While checking meat shops, 15 kilograms of substandard/ unstamped meat was discarded on spot and fine to the tune of Rs 3,200 was realized from the defaulters.
