JMC gets its shop vacated at Parade

JAMMU, Mar 15: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today got vacated its shop at Parade due to non-payment of rent arrears by the allottee.
As per the reports, the shop was allotted to M/s Kartar Goods Carrier since long at Parade Market, Jammu by the JMC but the owner of the M/s Kartar Goods Carrier failed to deposit the rent arrears in lacs which were pending for quite long time. As a result, the JMC officials on the directions of Commissioner JMC Avny Lavasa got vacated the shop and took its possession from the allottee.
The JMC Commissioner appealed the allottees of Corporation’s shops/quarters to deposit their monthly rent well in time and refrain from making rent pending, as JMC will continue its drive against defaulters who are not paying monthly rent of their allotted accommodation leading to sealing of their accommodation or taking back its possession.
