JMC Councillor starts road blacktopping work

JAMMU, Mar 12: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Ritu Choudhary here today started blacktopping work of a Road at Eid Gah near Residency road at a cost of Rs. 1 crore as it was the long pending demands of locals there.
The work is being executed by Public Works Department while AEE Rohit Puri, JE Rakesh Khajuria, JE Jagdesh Singh, Contractor and prominent locals of Ward 7 were also present on the occasion.
After this, Ritu visited Ward 7 and its adjoining localities where the locals put forth their issues like construction and repair of pending lanes-drains, blacktopping of the main roads and interior lanes etc.
She assured the locals that all their demands will be redressed in a time-bound manner.
Office bearers of Residency Bazar Association, Raj Kumar Sodi, Sanjay Sodi, Sunil Sharma, Harvinder Singh, Ashok Gupta, Sanjay Sharma, Yogesh Gupta, Sameer Gupta and Sushbam Sharma were also present on the occasion.
