JAMMU, July 19: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Amit Gupta here today started cleanliness drive at Ware House and Dogra Chowk in Ward 19.
Speaking on the occasion Gupta said that there was dire need of cleanliness in the Ward as there are many parks and eateries in Ware House and Dogra Chowk and footfall of the tourists and travellers is comparatively more than the adjoining Wards.
He thanked JMC Health Officer for listening to the demand and starting cleanliness drive in Ward 19 and further added that this is a big step towards PM’s Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan.
The Councillor said that cleanliness will provide the locals much healthier environment.
He said that soon such cleanliness drives will be there in other parts of the Ward.
