JAMMU, June 2: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor, Pritam Singh inaugurated lane- drain work at Langer village of Ward number 55 with the estimated cost of Rs 7.50 lakhs, here today.
“The drains of the ward have been in dilapidated condition since long time and the residents especially old age persons were facing lot of problems while passing through these busy lanes,” said Councillor Pritam Singh.
Corporator while addressing the media persons appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) for the development of the ward and urged the public to don’t throw debris and garbage filth in the public drains.
He also appealed the public to segregate the dry and wet garbage at their level, so that Jammu can be made a clean, green and beautiful city.
Javed Khan Goli, Mohd Hussain, SK Raina (JEE), Neeraj Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Vicky, Hussain Mohd, Tarik Hussain Choudhary and other were present during the event.
