JAMMU, Sept 7: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Rahul Kumar of Ward 20 along with BJP Jammu District president, Vinay Gupta today started tile laying work in A/C Block of Gandhi Nagar.
Speaking on the occasion Vinay Gupta said tile work in the area will upgrade lanes and by-lanes of the area and the work will be executed under proper supervision of JMC.
He claimed that up-gradation of lanes and roads in the area remained a long pending demand of residents of A/C Block of Gandhi Nagar.
JMC Councillor, Rahul Kumar said though all efforts will be made by JMC to upgrade the basic civic facilities in the area, yet the responsibility lies on the people of the Ward to keep their area clean.
He appealed the people to contribute towards ‘Swachh Bharat’ and promote the vision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to build a clean and green nation.
Chairman Health & Sanitation Committee of JMC, Narinder Singh Jamwal; BJP District secretary, Narinder Gupta; Mandal president, Neeraj Puri; Mandal secretary, Rachit Khosla; Ward president, Satbir Singh; Vijay Verma, Rikki Gupta, Joginder, Janak Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
