JAMMU, Nov 14: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) continued anti-encroachment drive in various areas.
The Chief Enforcement Officers along with field staff of Enforcement Wing undertook an extensive anti-encroachment drive with the help of police from Warehouse and Bus Stand in various areas including Bikram Chowk, Jewel Chowk, Indira Chowk and Shalamar to clear the footpaths and pavements from the encroachments made by the shopkeepers and vendors by keeping their goods, articles and reharies thereby causing inconvenience to the pedestrians and also obstructing the free flow of vehicular traffic.
During the drive, five truck loads material and reharies were seized.
