JAMMU, Oct 4: Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Dr Manmohan Singh along with his team of officers visited Muthi and Higher Secondary School area to assess the problems being faced by the people who have been migrated from borders due to firing by Pakistan Army.
The Commissioner , who was accompanied by R S Jamwal, Joint Commissioner, Dr Anita Salgotra, Health Officer, Talat Mehmood Khan and Chief Transport Officer,
gave on spot directions to the Health and Sanitation staff of JMC to provide proper sanitation to the area so that there could no chances of health hazards to the migrated people.
The people so migrated from border areas lauded the role of Jammu Municipal Corporation for extending timely help in this emergent situation arise out of border situation. The Commissioner assured them that JMC would extend every possible help the migrated people.
Meanwhile, the JMC Commissioner also accompanied the Deputy Commissioner, Jammu during the later’s visit to MAM. Stadium and GGM Science College to see the arrangements being made for Inter school games and gave on spot directions to the field staff to provide any sort of help required by the Stadium staff.
