JKTJAC raises burning issues of teachers, ReTs

UDHAMPUR, Jan 3: A monthly meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) was held here today under the chairmanship of UT president Vinod Sharma and District President Lekh Raj Parihar.
The meeting was attended by JKTJAC representatives from all the eleven zones of the district.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma raised the burning issues of the teachers and demanded transfer policy in favour of Teachers appointed under ReT scheme, inclusion of 5 years ReT period for seniority benefits, regularisation of ReTs who have completed their 5 years ReT period, appointment of ZEOs in headless zones and conversion of left out RReTs to Teachers Grade II/III.
Lekh Raj Parihar requested CEO Udhampur to make provision for release of pending MDM dues of Zones Ghordi and Udhampur which the teachers have managed from their own pockets and sought the resolution of Tax deduction issue of Zone Ghordi so that teachers may not suffer any more.
Others, who also spoke on the occasion, included Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, Sham Sharma, Sukesh Khajuria, Ashok Seth, Pritam Goswami, Chain Singh, Ravinder Singh Rathore , Bhushan Khajuria, Shamsher Singh, Anil Sharma, Sham Singh, Viney Sharma , Dharuv Singh, Vipin Sharma, Maan Chand Khajuria, Pankaj Singh, Bharat Bhushan Singh and Puma Chand.
