JKTJAC demands early resolution of teachers’ issues

JAMMU, Feb 14: A State level delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC), headed by it’s chairman Gazi Abdul Aziz, called on K K Sharma, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, here today and raised various issues pertaining to Government teachers.
The delegation submitted a written memorandum of demands. The memorandum includes the issue of left out cases of grade II teachers and grade lll teachers , who are still waiting for their orders.
The delegation also put forward issue of the transfer policy for regularised Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers, including Teacher of grade II, Teacher Grade III, Third Teachers and Normal regularised Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers. Implementation of order number 469- Edu of 2014 regarding the inclusion of initial five years service in service records to regularised Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers, timely adjustment of supernumerary cadre against substantive posts, extension of SRO-43 benefits infavour of teacher Grade ll and Teacher grade lll , leave encashment in favour of teachers, adjustment of upper primary school head teachers on available mastergrade posts, creation of master grade posts in upper primary school and abolishment of incharge system in School Education Department was also demanded.
The delegation was assured by the Advisor after looking into the all raised issues thoroughly, the administration would try it’s level best to resolve them in order to fulfill all genuine and legitimate demands of teachers.
The delegation comprised of Saleem Sagar, Parvaiz Iqbal, Ghulam Nabi Ganie, Mohammed Rafiq, Mohammed Amin Kulgam and others.
