JAMMU, Feb 9: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) condemned educational authorities for adopting the delaying attitude towards the demands of teaching fraternity including transfer policy for ReTs and adjustment of newly promoted headmasters.
A meeting of JKTF was held under the chairmanship of its general secretary, Ganesh Khajuria, who while speaking said that the teaching fraternity was facing grave hardship as Government has failed to address the long pending demands including repatriation of masters from district Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar, adjustments of newly promoted headmasters, transfer policy in the favour of ReT, DPC meeting of class IV employees, adjustment of lecturers, inclusion of five years rendered services in favour of ReTs and removal of pay anomalies.
He warned that they would hold protest in front of Director School Education if their demands would not be conceded before February 17.
Among others present were Rajinder Gupta, Satish Dutta, Kuldeep Singh, Amarnath Thakur, Jamat Ali, Ramparkash, Surat Singh Toofani, Raj Singh, Darshan Sharma, etc.
