JAMMU, July 13: An emergency meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held here today under the patronage of Ganesh Khajuria, Chief Patron of JKTF, along with the senior executive members of JKTF, for threadbare discussion regarding the various burning issues being faced by the teaching community of the School Education Department.
While addressing the meeting, Ganesh Khajuria demanded the Earned Leave / Cash-in-lieu benefits in favour of all those employees / teaching faculty members who have attended the Summer Camp in the schools for seven days, during the Summer vacations.
“The Teachers, Masters & Lecturers who regularly attended the schools to make these Summer Camps successful under the policies and programs in accordance to the National Education Policy-2020, deserve all the appreciations as they worked tirelessly for the benefits of the students during the Summer Vacations and as such they are entitled for the Earned leave/ Cash-in-lieu benefits in their favour,” he said.
Ganesh Khajuria urged Director School Education, Jammu, to issue necessary directions to all the concerned DDOs to reflect the entry of the Summer Camp duties in the Service Books of all those employees who have performed their duties in the schools during the Summer vacations confirming their entitlement for the Earned Leave for the period they have performed these duties.
