JKTF delegation calls on Secy Education, submits demands

JAMMU, Dec 28: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, led by Chairman Ganesh Khajuria, called on B K Singh, Principal Secretary School Education Department in his office chamber at Civil Secretariat Jammu and submitted a charter of long pending demands pertaining to the teaching and non teaching cadres of the Department.
Ganesh Khajuria put up all the issues in a very effective way before the Principal Secretary, which included speeding up the process of DPC of Teachers to Masters, Masters to Headmasters and Teachers/ Masters to Lecturers and all the non teaching cadres, filling up of vacant posts of Principals, Lecturers, Headmasters, Masters, Teachers and Ministrial Staff, removal of pay anomalies in favour of all cadres at par with the Central Government employees, adjustment of surplus teaching staff, detachment of all teaching cadres working in different administrative offices, implementation of ATD 2021 of all left out Districts, particularly District Rajouri, Udhampur and Jammu, subject based rationalization of teaching staff, immediate replacement of ZRCs, ZRPs, CRPs and the staff engaged in the DIETS and SIES.
The deputation also demanded transition of Grade-II and Grade-III Teachers on substantive posts, transfer policy in favour of Teacher Grade-II and Grade- III, regularisation of CPWs and implementation of Minimum Wages act till their Regularisation.
After hearing and discussing all the issues in detail, the Principal Secretary School Education assured the delegation that all the issues shall be resolved at an earliest as the administration is working vigorously on it.
The Principal Secretary also assured the deputation that transfer list of teachers of district Rajouri under ATD 2021,which was kept in abeyance by the authorities, shall be released very soon.
The deputation comprised of the Central body members, including S Surat Singh Toofani, J A Agah, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, B A Thoker and P D Singh.
