KATHUA, Sept 24: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) constituted its Marheen and Sallan units of Kathua during a meeting, held here today under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, Chief Patron JKTF.
For Marheen, Sanjay Sharma was elected as President and Somlal as Vice President. Similarly, for Sallan, Somdutt was elected as President and Shamlal as Vice President.
Senior leaders including Soorat Singh Toofani and K S Bandral, Provincial President, were also present in the meeting, which witnessed active participation of several JKTF leaders and members including Subash Sharma, Rashpaul Choudhry (President JKTF Kathua), Kulvinder ( Zone Hiranagar President), Subash, Subash Choudhary, Ganesh, Nar Singh, Tara Chand, Bachan, Rakesh, Vijay, Sudesh, Vipan, Kuldeep, Ranjit, Kamaljit, Mahan, Akshay Gopal, Narayan, Lakhbir, Raman Bhaskar, Rajeev, Anil, Shakti, Madan, Resham, Ajay , Manohar, Madan, Naresh, Vinod, Shyam, Ravi, Balbir, Vaishno, Rajinder, Vijay, and others.
The meet also discussed some important issues and demands of the teachers, including conduct of DPC, modification in teachers’ transfers under ATD and TET related matter.
