JAMMU, Feb  16: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum has appealed the teaching fraternity to participate in  protest dharna in large number outside the office of  Director School Education, Jammu at Muthi here on February 18. Taking to media persons here today, state general secretary of the JKTF  Ganesh Khajuria issued appeal to all the teachers to participate in large number in the  protest/ dharna programme on February 18 outside the office of Director School Education here, in support of their pending demands. Mr Khajuria criticized the State Government for showing the callous attitude towards the pending issues of the teaching community. The major issues of the teachers included repatriation of  Masters of Kathua and Jammu districts serving in Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar since 2011, adjustment of newly promoted Headmasters, issuance of regularisation   orders of Education Volunteers, removal of pay anomalies of Master Grade, adjustment of 10 plus 2 lecturers, framing of transfer policy of ReTs, inclusion of five years of service in favour of ReTs for promotional benefits, DPC of Class IV employees, sanction of  senior teachers grade to under graduate  teachers  and early disposal of permission cases for higher studies in favour of  in-service teachers.
