JAMMU, Mar 13: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum has announced to launch the membership drive in order to strengthen the Forum at the grass root level and to acquaint the teachers community about various struggles successfully launched by the JKTF for the betterment of all the cadres of the Education Department.
Decision in this regard was taken during a JKTF meeting held under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria and attended by the members of State Body, Provincial Body, District Body and the Zonal bodies of Jammu District.
After the threadbare discussions on the various burning issues of the teaching fraternity, the House decided to launch the membership drive, which shall be completed upto 30th June 2022.
While addressing the meeting, Ganesh Khajuria said that suitable adjustments of the newly promoted ZEOs will improve the work culture at the Zonal levels. He expressed hope that the newly promoted Headmasters shall be adjusted on the vacant posts of High Schools at an earliest.
Ganesh Khajuria advised all the teaching community to deliver their duties with utmost care and capabilities for the welfare and betterment of the students in order to compensate the academic loss of the students during the lockdown period of COVID-19 pandemic and to achieve the academic excellence in order to bring the Government run schools at par with the Pvt sector schools.
Those who were part of today’s meeting, included S Surat Singh Toofani, Darshan Sharma, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Kuldeep Verma, P D Singh, Narinder Chib, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Shanti Saroop, Balraj Singh, Jatinder Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Subash Sharma, Daleep Dingra, Kapil Salgotra, Ajeet Verma, Sanjeev Sharma, Raman Deep, Subash Chander, Bikram Singh, Subash Sharma, Pawan Kumar, Gurmeet Singh, Rohit Sharma , Rajesh Sharma, Mohd Qayoom, Subash Rakwal, Mohd Shanaz and others.
